An Endless Supply of Water

If there is something Iceland has, plenty of it is water. Water pours down mountains and hillsides, collects into lakes of all sizes; fresh water is almost anywhere one goes in Iceland.

The water is pure and clean enough to drink anywhere. Buying expensive bottled water is unnecessary and wasteful in a country with such an endless supply of clean and good water.
Endless Fresh Water
On a leisurely walk in Iceland, you might encounter a little stream such as the one in the picture, bring along a bottle of water and fill it up. It will be pure, drinkable and last you until the next time you find a small stream of water.
