Summer Ahead with a Perfect Blowball

The dandelion grows everywhere in Iceland. It is not very popular among those trying to grow the perfect green lawn but the yellow flower is fun and in itself it brings us the feeling of summer.

This bright yellow flowers turn into fluffy seed balls that distributes all around and ensures the next generation of dandelions. A favorite pastime of children of all ages in Iceland is to blow the seeds of the blowball and see it travel in a nice breeze.
