The Dam and the Mountains

This is a view over the Karahnjukar Dam construction area. The mountain in the background is Herdubreid, one of Iceland's best known mountains. Herdubreid is easily recognizable because of the shoulder like shape and at its roots is Herdubreidalindir, a unique natural jewel.
