The Dam in the Canyon

The Karahnjukar Dam is built in a canyon, one of Iceland's highest. Excess water will run through a tunnel through the dam and create a waterfall that will be among the highest in Iceland and the highest man-made waterfall. The tall cranes and the gigantic trucks look small compared to the enormous dam.
