The Fjord and Town of Reydarfjordur

The town Reydarfjordur is located in a fjord bearing the same name. The fjord is one of Iceland’s most beautiful fjords with august mountains looking over the long fjord. Reydarfjordur is the location of a new aluminum factory that is currently being constructed and is the subject of controversial discussions among Icelanders. The factory is creating new jobs for the residents of the East Fjords and is welcomed by many.
